Post-shooting

Today we managed to get all of our footage done to begin editing. We got a range of shots and variations only from marine lake and the studio.

We got the duet to sing the song several times in one location from several different camera angles so we can selectively choose and try out different variations when we edit it.

We used a Sony VG 20 which worked well to get a consistent lighting effect throughout the scenes at different times of day.

We also hired a dolly so that we could make our camera dynamic for some pan shots.

We experimented in the studio with different lighting effects and decided that we wanted a dark setting with a spotlight coming down on them for dark shadows and highlights. I hired the studio from 1-8pm and managed to get all the shooting done by the time we came back at 3 till 5.

In review, me and the duet were very pleased at how the footage came out. I can now incorporate the already recorded original song 'Criminal' into the video.
