After a meeting with Nina, we established what we wanted from this project. She wants me to produce a music video for her original song 'criminal', which works well for me as I can include a range of camera shots, directing techniques and incorporate music creatively when editing.
I mentioned that my research has pointed towards the indie alternative genre which solely focuses on instrumental/ per formative videos to collaborate with the powerful singing that she aspires her songs to achieve.
We brainstormed where we could set the scenes to work with.
We thought that scenic locations based in Weston like marine lake, uphill and our own performing studios will look professional and gives it variety.
